Our Chelsea Wedding

11th July, 2026 @ 2pm - Chelsea Old Town Hall

We are having our legal ceremony in London in July at Chelsea Old Town Hall. The venue was chosen (despite being small & having no dancefloor) as there have been a few of Max's family's weddings here

Bring your confetti-throwing hands & pizza-eating bellies

Dress Code

Semi-formal, wear what you're comfortable in! Ties & heels not required. Average temperature on 11th July in London is 23, so nothing too heavy. Suncream & sunhats encouraged

Photographs

There will be a photographer and we will share all photos with you, so please keep your phone away during the ceremony

Let us know any allergies or intolerances in advance when sending your RSVP

Partial Attendance

If you are unable to make any specific part of the day, please let us know as we are happy to be flexible

Speeches

We are NOT having any speeches or toasts. We will have a guest book to write well-wishes

Access

Please let us know any access requirements. There is step-free access to the ceremony and outside of Pizza Express

Order of the Day

  1. Arrival for Ceremony

    Enter via the side entrance of the Registrars department at Chelsea Old Town Hall, on Chelsea Manor Street

    You will be greeted at the door and asked to go upstairs into the ceremony waiting area

  2. Ceremony

    First two rows are reserved for immediate family, otherwise sit wherever you like - you're all family!

  3. End of Ceremony & Photos

    Get those confetti throwing hands ready for the classic Chelsea registry photos on the steps

  4. Arrive at Pizza Express

    Outside in the courtyard we will have drinks, nibbles, a very short toast and our cake cutting

    Starters... Mains... Deserts... Wine...

    I've heard the doughballs are quite nice...

  6. End of Dinner

    Three hours booked at Pizza Express

  7. After Party at Barts Bar

    Optional after-party!

    We will be heading from Pizza Express to the bar for more drinks and dancing

    If you would like to then please feel free to bring your own picnic and we will have some nibbles & drinks in the gardens

    We may go from Kew out for dinner somewhere nearby

    If we're still on our feet by the evening then a wee trip to the pub isn't off the cards...
